Last week we had our well check up for Isabella. Our doctor, Dr. Burns with Akron Children’s Pediatrics shook his head and said, “She’s a miracle.”
It’s true. She is a miracle. She has come so stinking far. She amazes us every day. On the 1st she’ll be 11 months old. So very close to ONE YEAR.
We are very proud of her. Her strength and joy is contagious.
One of my favorite things to do is reflect on God’s mercy and grace. He has tossed buckets on us over the last year.
I don’t have a lot of time to write a full update, but I will say this:
Isabella is thriving. She is growing and is over 14 lbs. She is patient and always quick with a smile. She loves family and cuddles. She doesn’t love wearing hats and jumps at overly loud noises. Her grin and two little teeth make everyone smile.
Here are some pictures that we’ve collected this month…but first, a few of where she’s come from.
Below was the first time I touched her. She was a day old. Less than 1lb 7 ounces.
Below she was 9 days old. This was Dustin’s 31st birthday. I made the cute little sign for her to hold.
And NOW!
Love & Light,
T
